Ang Pahimangno bahin sa Pagbiya sa Pagtuo
11 Daghan pa unta ang among isulti kaninyo mahitungod sa pagkapari ni Melkizedek ug ni Jesus, apan lisod kining ipadayag kaninyo tungod kay lisod kamong pasabton. 12 Mga magtutudlo na unta kamo karon kay dugay na kamo sa pagtuo. Apan hangtod karon kinahanglan pa gayod kamong tudloan sa unang mga pagtulon-an mahitungod sa pulong sa Dios. Sama gihapon kamo sa mga batang masuso nga nagakinahanglan pa ug gatas tungod kay dili pa kamo makakaon sa gahi nga mga pagkaon. 13 Ang mga nabuhi sa gatas mga batang masuso nga wala kahibalo kon unsa ang maayo ug daotan. 14 Apan ang gahi nga mga pagkaon alang sa mga hamtong nga nasayod na kon unsa ang maayo ug daotan.
6 Busa tungod kay dugay na kita nga nagtuo, kinahanglan biyaan na nato ang unang mga pagtulon-an bahin kang Cristo, ug magpadayon kita sa pagtuon sa mga laglom nga mga pagtulon-an. Dili na nato balik-balikon ang mahitungod sa paghinulsol ug pagbiya sa walay pulos nga binuhatan ug ang mahitungod sa pagtuo sa Dios, 2 ang mga pagtulon-an mahitungod sa bautismo, mahitungod sa pagpandong sa kamot sa ulo, sa pagbanhaw sa mga patay, ug sa paghukom sa Dios sa kada tawo kon unsa ang iyang mahimong kahimtang sa walay kataposan.

11 of whom (A)we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become (B)dull of hearing.
Spiritual Immaturity
12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the [a]oracles of God; and you have come to need (C)milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is (D)a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are [b]of full age, that is, those who by reason of [c]use have their senses exercised (E)to discern both good and evil.
The Peril of Not Progressing
6 Therefore, (F)leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to [d]perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from (G)dead works and of faith toward God, 2 (H)of the doctrine of baptisms, (I)of laying on of hands, (J)of resurrection of the dead, (K)and of eternal judgment.

Warning Against Falling Away(A)
11 We have much to say about this, but it is hard to make it clear to you because you no longer try to understand. 12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths(B) of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!(C) 13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant,(D) is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14 But solid food is for the mature,(E) who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.(F)
6 Therefore let us move beyond(G) the elementary teachings(H) about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death,[a](I) and of faith in God, 2 instruction about cleansing rites,[b](J) the laying on of hands,(K) the resurrection of the dead,(L) and eternal judgment.
