¹³ But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” so that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

¹¹ Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing.

²⁴ And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, ²⁵ not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.^(A)

² proclaim the message; be persistent whether the time is favorable or unfavorable; convince, rebuke, and encourage with the utmost patience in teaching.^(A)

¹⁸ Therefore encourage one another with these words.

¹¹ For sin, seizing an opportunity in the commandment, deceived me and through it killed me.

¹⁴ But one is tempted by one’s own desire, being lured and enticed by it;

²² to put away your former way of life, your old self, corrupt and deluded by its lusts,^(A)
