¹² Therefore Jesus also, that He might ^[a]sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

¹² Not ^(A)with the blood of goats and calves, but ^(B)with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place ^(C)once for all, ^(D)having obtained eternal redemption. ¹³ For if ^(E)the blood of bulls and goats and ^(F)the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, ^[a]sanctifies for the ^[b]purifying of the flesh, ¹⁴ how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without ^[c]spot to God, ^(G)cleanse your conscience from ^(H)dead works ^(I)to serve the living God?

The King on a Cross^(A)

^17 (B)And He, bearing His cross, ^(C)went out to a place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha, ¹⁸ where they crucified Him, and ^(D)two others with Him, one on either side, and Jesus in the center.

⁵⁸ and they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And ^(A)the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul.

²⁰ And when they had ^(A)mocked Him, they took the purple off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him out to crucify Him.

The King on a Cross^(B)

^21 (C)Then they compelled a certain man, Simon a Cyrenian, the father of Alexander and Rufus, as he was coming out of the country and passing by, to bear His cross. ^22 (D)And they brought Him to the place Golgotha, which is translated, Place of a Skull. ^23 (E)Then they gave Him wine mingled with myrrh to drink, but He did not take it. ²⁴ And when they crucified Him, ^(F)they divided His garments, casting lots for them to determine what every man should take.

¹¹ For ^(A)both He who ^[a]sanctifies and those who are being sanctified ^(B)are all of one, for which reason ^(C)He is not ashamed to call them brethren,

²⁶ that He might ^[a]sanctify and cleanse her ^(A)with the washing of water ^(B)by the word,

¹¹ And such were ^(A)some of you. ^(B)But you were washed, but you were ^[a]sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

¹⁹ And ^(A)for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.
