²⁸ Therefore let us be grateful for receiving ^(A)a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus ^(B)let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,

^15 (A)Through him then let us continually offer up ^(B)a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, ^(C)the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.

⁴⁴ And in the days of those kings ^(A)the God of heaven will set up ^(B)a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. ^(C)It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and ^(D)it shall stand forever,

A Living Sacrifice

12 ^(A)I appeal to you therefore, brothers,^[a] by the mercies of God, ^(B)to present your bodies ^(C)as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.^{[b] 2 (D)}Do not be conformed to this world,^[c] but be transformed by ^(E)the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may ^(F)discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.^[d]

^16 (A)Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

²² let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts ^(A)sprinkled clean ^(B)from an evil conscience and our bodies ^(C)washed with pure water. ^23 (D)Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for ^(E)he who promised is faithful.

^5 (A)you yourselves like living stones are being built up as ^(B)a spiritual house, to be ^(C)a holy priesthood, ^(D)to offer spiritual sacrifices ^(E)acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

⁴ to ^(A)an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and ^(B)unfading, ^(C)kept in heaven for you, ⁵ who by God's power are being guarded ^(D)through faith for a salvation ^(E)ready to be revealed in the last time.
