⁷ In speaking of the angels he says,

¹⁴ Are not all angels ministering spirits^(A) sent to serve those who will inherit^(B) salvation?^(C)

¹⁷ And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots^(A) of fire all around Elisha.

¹¹ As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire^(A) and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven^(B) in a whirlwind.^(C)

⁵ The angel answered me, “These are the four spirits^[a](A) of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world.^(B)

¹³ The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals^(A) of fire or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures; it was bright, and lightning^(B) flashed out of it. ¹⁴ The creatures sped back and forth like flashes of lightning.^(C)

² Above him were seraphim,^(A) each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet,^(B) and with two they were flying.
