But to the Son He says:

(A)“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A [a]scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, (B)has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”

10 And:

(C)“You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Your hands.
11 (D)They will perish, but You remain;
And (E)they will all grow old like a garment;
12 Like a cloak You will fold them up,
And they will be changed.
But You are the (F)same,
And Your years will not fail.”

  1. Hebrews 1:8 A ruler’s staff

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
