Habakkuk 2:2-4
New King James Version
The Just Live by Faith
2 Then the Lord answered me and said:
(A)“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
3 For (B)the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will (C)not lie.
Though it tarries, (D)wait for it;
Because it will (E)surely come,
It will not tarry.
4 “Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the (F)just shall live by his faith.
Habakkuk 2:2-4
American Standard Version
2 And Jehovah answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it [a]hasteth toward the end, and shall not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay.
4 Behold, his soul is puffed up, it is not [b]upright in him; but the righteous shall live [c]by his faith.
