Habakkuk 2:3
New American Standard Bible
3 For the vision is yet for the (A)appointed time;
It [a]hurries toward the goal and it will not [b]fail.
Though it delays, (B)wait for it;

The Voice
3 For the vision points ahead to a time I have appointed;
it testifies regarding the end, and it will not lie.
Even if there is a delay, wait for it.
It is coming and will come without delay.[a]

The Message
Full of Self, but Soul-Empty
2-3 And then God answered: “Write this.
Write what you see.
Write it out in big block letters
so that it can be read on the run.
This vision-message is a witness
pointing to what’s coming.
It aches for the coming—it can hardly wait!
And it doesn’t lie.
If it seems slow in coming, wait.
It’s on its way. It will come right on time.
