Habakkuk 1:7-9

7 They are dreaded and fearsome;
(A)their justice and dignity go forth from themselves.
8 (B)Their horses are swifter than leopards,
more fierce than (C)the evening wolves;
their horsemen press proudly on.
Their horsemen come from afar;
(D)they fly like an eagle swift to devour.
9 They all come (E)for violence,
all their faces forward.
They gather captives (F)like sand.

they are a law to themselves
and promote their own honor.
8 Their horses are swifter(B) than leopards,
fiercer than wolves(C) at dusk.
Their cavalry gallops headlong;
their horsemen come from afar.
They fly like an eagle swooping to devour;
9 they all come intent on violence.
Their hordes[a] advance like a desert wind
and gather prisoners(D) like sand.
