15 Los caldeos nos pescan a todos con anzuelos y nos recogen con sus redes. ¡Con gran alegría y regocijo nos amontonan en sus mallas! 16 Luego ofrecen sacrificios a sus redes, y queman incienso a sus mallas, pues gracias a ellas aumentan sus riquezas y su fuente de alimentos. 17 ¡Pero ni así dejan de lanzar sus redes, ni se apiadan de las naciones, a las que siguen destruyendo sin cesar!

15 El malvado los saca a todos con anzuelo,
los arrastra con sus redes,
los recoge entre sus mallas,
y así se alegra y regocija.
16 Por lo tanto, ofrece sacrificios a sus redes
y quema incienso a sus mallas,
pues gracias a sus redes su porción es sabrosa
y su comida es suculenta.
17 ¿Continuará vaciando sus redes
y matando sin piedad a las naciones?

15 The wicked(A) foe pulls all of them up with hooks,(B)
he catches them in his net,(C)
he gathers them up in his dragnet;
and so he rejoices and is glad.
16 Therefore he sacrifices to his net
and burns incense(D) to his dragnet,
for by his net he lives in luxury
and enjoys the choicest food.
17 Is he to keep on emptying his net,
destroying nations without mercy?(E)
