³² “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and ^(A)to the word of His grace, which is able ^(B)to build you up and give you ^(C)an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

⁹ Much more then, having now been justified ^(A)by His blood, we shall be saved ^(B)from wrath through Him. ¹⁰ For ^(C)if when we were enemies ^(D)we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved ^(E)by His life.

²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those ^(A)who are the called according to His purpose. ²⁹ For whom ^(B)He foreknew, ^(C)He also predestined ^(D)to be conformed to the image of His Son, ^(E)that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. ³⁰ Moreover whom He predestined, these He also ^(F)called; whom He called, these He also ^(G)justified; and whom He justified, these He also ^(H)glorified.

God’s Everlasting Love

³¹ What then shall we say to these things? ^(I)If God is for us, who can be against us? ^32 (J)He who did not spare His own Son, but ^(K)delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? ³³ Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? ^(L)It is God who justifies. ^34 (M)Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, ^(N)who is even at the right hand of God, ^(O)who also makes intercession for us. ³⁵ Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ³⁶ As it is written:

^37 (Q)Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. ³⁸ For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor ^(R)principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, ³⁹ nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

¹² For ^(A)there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for ^(B)the same Lord over all ^(C)is rich to all who call upon Him. ¹³ For ^(D)“whoever calls ^(E)on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Israel Rejects the Gospel

¹⁴ How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear ^(F)without a preacher? ¹⁵ And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:

^5 (A)Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. ⁶ And ^(B)if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. ^[a]But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

⁷ What then? ^(C)Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were ^(D)blinded.

²⁶ And so all Israel will be ^[a]saved, as it is written:

²⁸ Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are ^(C)beloved for the sake of the fathers. ²⁹ For the gifts and the calling of God are ^(D)irrevocable. ³⁰ For as you ^(E)were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience, ³¹ even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy. ³² For God has ^[b]committed them ^(F)all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all.

³³ Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

³⁶ For ^(J)of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, ^(K)to whom be glory forever. Amen.

1 Paul, ^(A)called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ ^(B)through the will of God, and ^(C)Sosthenes our brother,

² To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who ^(D)are ^[a]sanctified in Christ Jesus, ^(E)called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ ^(F)our Lord, ^(G)both theirs and ours:

²⁴ Then comes the end, when He delivers ^(A)the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. ²⁵ For He must reign ^(B)till He has put all enemies under His feet. ^26 (C)The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. ²⁷ For ^(D)“He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. ^28 (E)Now when all things are made subject to Him, then ^(F)the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

⁴ just as ^(A)He chose us in Him ^(B)before the foundation of the world, that we should ^(C)be holy and without blame before Him in love, ^5 (D)having predestined us to ^(E)adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, ^(F)according to the good pleasure of His will, ⁶ to the praise of the glory of His grace, ^(G)by which He ^[a]made us accepted in ^(H)the Beloved.

^7 (I)In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to ^(J)the riches of His grace ⁸ which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and ^[b]prudence, ^9 (K)having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure ^(L)which He purposed in Himself, ¹⁰ that in the dispensation of ^(M)the fullness of the times ^(N)He might gather together in one ^(O)all things in Christ, ^[c]both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. ^11 (P)In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to ^(Q)the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, ^12 (R)that we ^(S)who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

¹³ In Him you also trusted, after you heard ^(T)the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, ^(U)you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, ^14 (V)who^[d] is the ^[e]guarantee of our inheritance ^(W)until the redemption of ^(X)the purchased possession, ^(Y)to the praise of His glory.

Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom

¹⁵ Therefore I also, ^(Z)after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, ^16 (AA)do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: ¹⁷ that ^(AB)the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, ^(AC)may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, ^18 (AD)the eyes of your ^[f]understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is ^(AE)the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, ¹⁹ and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, ^(AF)according to the working of His mighty power ²⁰ which He worked in Christ when ^(AG)He raised Him from the dead and ^(AH)seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, ^21 (AI)far above all ^(AJ)principality^[g] and ^[h]power and ^[i]might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

²² And ^(AK)He put all things under His feet, and gave Him ^(AL)to be head over all things to the church, ^23 (AM)which is His body, ^(AN)the fullness of Him ^(AO)who fills all in all.
