Genesis 9:6-7

⁶^(A)“Whoever sheds the blood of man,
by man shall his blood be shed,
^(B)for God made man in his own image.

⁷And you,^[a] be fruitful and multiply, increase greatly on the earth and multiply in it.”

⁶“Whoever sheds human blood,
by humans shall their blood be shed;^(A)
for in the image of God^(B)
has God made mankind.

⁷As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it.”^(C)

⁶Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

⁷And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.
