8 But God remembered(A) Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth,(B) and the waters receded. 2 Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens(C) had been closed, and the rain(D) had stopped falling from the sky. 3 The water receded steadily from the earth. (B)And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided. 2 (C)The fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were also (D)stopped, and (E)the rain from heaven was restrained. 3 And the waters receded continually from the earth. At the end (F)of the hundred and fifty days the waters decreased.
