The Flood Subsides
8 But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and all the domestic animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters subsided; 2 the fountains of the deep and the windows of the heavens were closed, the rain from the heavens was restrained, 3 and the waters gradually receded from the earth. At the end of one hundred fifty days the waters had abated; 4 and in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. 5 The waters continued to abate until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains appeared.
6 At the end of forty days Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made 7 and sent out the raven; and it went to and fro until the waters were dried up from the earth. 8 Then he sent out the dove from him, to see if the waters had subsided from the face of the ground; 9 but the dove found no place to set its foot, and it returned to him to the ark, for the waters were still on the face of the whole earth. So he put out his hand and took it and brought it into the ark with him. 10 He waited another seven days, and again he sent out the dove from the ark; 11 and the dove came back to him in the evening, and there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf; so Noah knew that the waters had subsided from the earth. 12 Then he waited another seven days, and sent out the dove; and it did not return to him any more.
13 In the six hundred first year, in the first month, on the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from the earth; and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and saw that the face of the ground was drying. 14 In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry. 15 Then God said to Noah, 16 “Go out of the ark, you and your wife, and your sons and your sons’ wives with you. 17 Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh—birds and animals and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth—so that they may abound on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.” 18 So Noah went out with his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives. 19 And every animal, every creeping thing, and every bird, everything that moves on the earth, went out of the ark by families.
God’s Promise to Noah
20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. 21 And when the Lord smelled the pleasing odor, the Lord said in his heart, “I will never again curse the ground because of humankind, for the inclination of the human heart is evil from youth; nor will I ever again destroy every living creature as I have done.

Nel decimo mese, il primo giorno del mese, apparvero le vette dei monti.
6 Dopo quaranta giorni Noè aprì la finestra che aveva fatta nell’arca 7 e mandò fuori il corvo, il quale uscì, andando e tornando, finché le acque furono prosciugate sulla terra. 8 Poi mandò fuori la colomba per vedere se le acque fossero diminuite sulla superficie della terra. 9 La colomba non trovò dove posare la pianta del suo piede e tornò a lui nell’arca, perché c’erano le acque sulla superficie di tutta la terra; ed egli stese la mano, la prese e la portò con sé dentro l’arca. 10 Aspettò altri sette giorni, poi mandò di nuovo la colomba fuori dell’arca. 11 E la colomba tornò da lui verso sera; ed ecco, aveva nel becco una foglia fresca d’ulivo. Così Noè capì che le acque erano diminuite sopra la terra. 12 Aspettò altri sette giorni, poi mandò fuori la colomba; ma essa non tornò più da lui.
13 L’anno seicentouno della vita di Noè, il primo mese, il primo giorno del mese, le acque erano asciugate sulla terra e Noè scoperchiò l’arca, guardò, ed ecco che la superficie del suolo era asciutta. 14 Il secondo mese, il ventisettesimo giorno del mese, la terra era asciutta.
15 (B)Dio parlò allora a Noè dicendo: 16 «Esci dall’arca tu, tua moglie, i tuoi figli e le mogli dei tuoi figli con te. 17 Tutti gli animali che sono con te, di ogni specie[b], volatili, bestiame e tutti i rettili che strisciano sulla terra, falli uscire con te, perché possano disseminarsi sulla terra, siano fecondi e si moltiplichino su di essa». 18 Noè uscì con i suoi figli, con sua moglie e con le mogli dei suoi figli. 19 Tutti gli animali, tutti i rettili, tutti gli uccelli, tutto quello che si muove sulla terra, secondo le loro famiglie, uscirono dall’arca.
20 Noè costruì un altare al Signore; prese animali puri di ogni specie e uccelli puri di ogni specie e offrì olocausti sull’altare. 21 Il Signore sentì un odore soave; e il Signore disse in cuor suo: «Io non maledirò più la terra a motivo dell’uomo, poiché il cuore dell’uomo concepisce disegni malvagi fin dall’adolescenza; non colpirò più ogni essere vivente come ho fatto.

8 Da gedachte Gott an Noah und an alle Tiere und an alles Vieh, das bei ihm in der Arche war; und Gott ließ einen Wind über die Erde wehen, sodass die Wasser fielen.
2 Und die Quellen der Tiefe wurden verschlossen samt den Fenstern des Himmels, und dem Regen vom Himmel wurde Einhalt geboten.
3 Und die Wasser über der Erde nahmen mehr und mehr ab, sodass sie sich vermindert hatten nach 150 Tagen.
4 Und die Arche ließ sich auf dem Gebirge Ararat nieder am siebzehnten Tag des siebten Monats.
5 Und die Wasser nahmen immer weiter ab bis zum zehnten Monat; am ersten Tag des zehnten Monats konnte man die Spitzen der Berge sehen.
6 Und es geschah nach Verlauf von 40 Tagen, dass Noah das Fenster an der Arche öffnete, das er gemacht hatte.
7 Und er sandte den Raben aus; der flog hin und her, bis das Wasser auf der Erde vertrocknet war.
8 Danach sandte er die Taube aus, um zu sehen, ob die Wasser sich verlaufen hätten auf der Fläche des Erdbodens.
9 Aber die Taube fand keinen Ort, wo ihr Fuß ruhen konnte. Da kehrte sie zu ihm in die Arche zurück; denn es war noch Wasser auf der ganzen Erdoberfläche. Da streckte er seine Hand aus und ergriff sie und nahm sie wieder zu sich in die Arche.
10 Und er wartete noch weitere sieben Tage; dann sandte er die Taube wieder von der Arche aus.
11 Und die Taube kam zur Abendzeit wieder zu ihm, und siehe, sie hatte ein frisches Ölbaumblatt in ihrem Schnabel! Da erkannte Noah, dass das Wasser sich verlaufen hatte auf der Erde.
12 Und nachdem er noch weitere sieben Tage gewartet hatte, sandte er die Taube wieder aus; da kam sie nicht mehr zu ihm zurück.
13 Und es geschah im sechshundertersten Jahr, am ersten Tag des ersten Monats, da waren die Wasser von der Erde weggetrocknet. Und Noah entfernte das Dach von der Arche und schaute, und siehe, die Fläche des Erdbodens war trocken!
14 Und im zweiten Monat, am siebenundzwanzigsten Tag des Monats, war die Erde [ganz] trocken geworden.
Noah verlässt die Arche. Noahs Opfer und Gottes Verheißung
15 Da redete Gott zu Noah und sprach:
16 Geh aus der Arche, du und deine Frau und deine Söhne und die Frauen deiner Söhne mit dir!
17 Alle Tiere, die bei dir sind, von allem Fleisch: Vögel, Vieh und alles Gewürm, das auf der Erde kriecht, sollen mit dir hinausgehen und sich regen auf der Erde und sollen fruchtbar sein und sich mehren auf der Erde!
18 So ging Noah hinaus samt seinen Söhnen und seiner Frau und den Frauen seiner Söhne.
19 Alle Tiere, alles Gewürm und alle Vögel, alles, was sich regt auf der Erde nach seinen Gattungen, das verließ die Arche.
20 Noah aber baute dem Herrn einen Altar und nahm von allem reinen Vieh und von allen reinen Vögeln und opferte Brandopfer auf dem Altar.
21 Und der Herr roch den lieblichen Geruch[a], und der Herr sprach in seinem Herzen: Ich will künftig den Erdboden nicht mehr verfluchen um des Menschen willen, obwohl das Trachten[b] des menschlichen Herzens böse ist von seiner Jugend an; auch will ich künftig nicht mehr alles Lebendige schlagen, wie ich es getan habe.

8 Isten azonban nem feledkezett meg Nóéról, és az állatokról, amelyek a bárkában voltak, hanem gondja volt rájuk: erős szelet küldött a vízzel borított földre, és az özönvíz apadni kezdett. 2 Bezárta a mélység forrásait, az égboltozat ablakait, és az eső elállt. 3 A víz ettől fogva folyamatosan apadt, és 150 nap múlva visszahúzódott a szárazföldről. 4 A hetedik hónap 17. napján a bárka megfeneklett az Ararát-hegységben. 5 Azután az ár tovább apadt, és a tizedik hónap első napján Nóé meglátta a hegyek csúcsait.
6 Ezután negyven nappal Nóé kinyitotta a bárka egyik ablakát, amelyet ő készített, 7 és kiengedett egy hollót. Az ide-oda szállt, amíg a víz teljesen föl nem száradt a földről.

13 Nóé életének 601. évében, az első hónap első napján az árvíz visszahúzódott a szárazföldről. Nóé ekkor eltávolította a bárka tetejét, körülnézett, és látta, hogy már szárad a föld. 14 A második hónap 27. napjára azután teljesen fölszáradt a talaj.
15 Akkor Isten szólt Nóénak: 16 „Menj ki a bárkából feleségeddel, fiaiddal, és azok feleségeivel együtt! 17 Engedd ki a veled lévő állatokat is: a madarakat, a háziállatokat és a vadállatokat — hadd szaporodjanak, sokasodjanak és terjedjenek el ismét a földön!” 18 Így hát Nóé egész családjával együtt elhagyta a bárkát. 19 Az állatok is kimentek a szabadba: minden kisebb és nagyobb szárazföldi állat és madár kiment a bárkából, mindegyik a saját fajtájával együtt.
Nóé hálaáldozata
20 Ezután Nóé oltárt épített az Örökkévalónak. Mindenféle tiszta állat és madár közül vett néhányat, és az oltáron feláldozta azokat égőáldozatként. 21 Az Örökkévaló megérezte az áldozat jó illatát, és kedvét lelte benne. Akkor magában ezt mondta: „Többé nem átkozom meg a földet az ember miatt! Hiszen az ember szívének szándékai és kívánságai gonoszak fiatalsága óta. La pluie cessa de tomber. 3 Peu à peu, les eaux se retirèrent de dessus la terre. Au bout des cent cinquante jours, elles commencèrent à baisser.
4 Le dix-septième jour du septième mois, le bateau s’échoua dans le massif montagneux d’Ararat. 5 Les eaux continuèrent à baisser jusqu’au dixième mois ; le premier jour de ce mois, les sommets des montagnes apparurent. 6 Quarante jours après, Noé ouvrit la fenêtre qu’il avait ménagée dans le bateau 7 et lâcha un corbeau ; celui-ci s’envola, il revint et repartit à plusieurs reprises jusqu’à ce que les eaux se soient résorbées sur la terre. 8 Puis Noé lâcha une colombe pour voir si les eaux avaient baissé sur la terre ; 9 mais n’ayant pas trouvé où se poser, celle-ci revint vers lui dans le bateau, car toute la terre était encore inondée. 13 L’an 601 de la vie de Noé, le premier jour du premier mois, les eaux s’étaient retirées sur la terre, Noé enleva la couverture du bateau ; il regarda dehors et constata que la surface du sol avait séché. 14 Le vingt-septième jour du deuxième mois, la terre était sèche. 15 Alors Dieu dit à Noé : 16 Sors du bateau avec ta femme, tes fils et tes belles-filles. 17 Fais sortir aussi tous les animaux de toutes sortes qui sont avec toi : les oiseaux, les bestiaux et toutes les bêtes qui se meuvent à ras de terre : qu’ils prolifèrent sur la terre, et qu’ils s’y reproduisent et s’y multiplient.
18 Noé sortit avec ses fils, sa femme et ses belles-filles. 19 Tous les animaux, les bêtes qui se meuvent à ras de terre et les oiseaux, tous les êtres qui remuent sur la terre sortirent du bateau par familles.
20 Noé érigea un autel pour l’Eternel, il prit de tous les animaux purs et de tous les oiseaux purs, et les offrit en holocauste[a] sur l’autel. 21 L’Eternel sentit le parfum apaisant du sacrifice[b] et se dit en lui-même : Jamais plus je ne maudirai la terre à cause de l’homme, puisque le cœur de l’homme est porté au mal dès son enfance, et je ne détruirai plus tous les êtres vivants comme je viens de le faire.
