²⁴ And Joseph said to his brethren, “I am dying; but ^(A)God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land to the land ^(B)of which He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”

¹⁶ Go and ^(A)gather the elders of Israel together, and say to them, ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared to me, saying, ^(B)“I have surely visited you and seen what is done to you in Egypt; ¹⁷ and I have said ^(C)I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.” ’

¹² The ^(A)land which I gave Abraham and Isaac I give to you; and to your descendants after you I give this land.”

^3 (A)Dwell in this land, and ^(B)I will be with you and ^(C)bless you; for to you and your descendants ^(D)I give all these lands, and I will perform ^(E)the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.

^13 (A)And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: ^(B)“I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; ^(C)the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants.

²¹ Then Israel said to Joseph, “Behold, I am dying, but ^(A)God will be with you and bring you back to the land of your fathers.

^4 (A)I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also surely ^(B)bring you up again; and ^(C)Joseph ^[a]will put his hand on your eyes.”

¹⁸ On the same day the Lord ^(A)made a covenant with Abram, saying:

^(B)“To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates—

⁷ Then He said to him, “I am the Lord, who ^(A)brought you out of ^(B)Ur of the Chaldeans, ^(C)to give you this land to inherit it.”
