19 But Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God?(A) 20 You intended to harm me,(B) but God intended(C) it for good(D) to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.(E) 21 So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children.(F)” And he reassured them and spoke kindly(G) to them.

He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people. 21 No, don’t be afraid. I will continue to take care of you and your children.” So he reassured them by speaking kindly to them.

Don’t you see, you planned evil against me but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now—life for many people. Easy now, you have nothing to fear; I’ll take care of you and your children.” He reassured them, speaking with them heart-to-heart.
