Ang Lahi ni Adan(A)
5 Ito(B) ang kasaysayan ng lahi na mula kay Adan. Nang likhain ng Diyos ang tao, ginawa niya ito ayon sa kanyang larawan. 2 Sila'y(C) nilikha niya na lalaki at babae, at matapos pagpalain, sila'y tinawag niyang “Sangkatauhan”.[a] 3 Si Adan ay 130 taon nang maging anak niya si Set na kanyang kalarawan. 4 Nabuhay pa siya nang walong daang taon, at nagkaroon pa ng mga anak na lalaki't babae. 5 Namatay siya sa gulang na 930 taon.
6 Si Set ay 105 taon nang maging anak niya si Enos. 7 Nabuhay pa siya nang 807 taon at nagkaroon din ng iba pang mga anak. 8 Namatay siya sa gulang na 912 taon.
9 Siyamnapung taon naman si Enos nang maging anak niya si Kenan. 10 Nabuhay pa siya nang 815 taon at nagkaroon din ng iba pang mga anak. 11 Namatay siya sa gulang na 905 taon.
12 Si Kenan naman ay pitumpung taon nang maging anak si Mahalalel. 13 Nabuhay pa si Kenan nang 840 taon at nagkaroon din ng iba pang mga anak. 14 Namatay siya sa gulang na 910 taon.
15 Animnapu't limang taon si Mahalalel nang maging anak si Jared. 16 Nabuhay pa si Mahalalel nang 830 taon at nagkaroon din ng iba pang mga anak. 17 Namatay siya sa gulang na 895 taon.
18 Si Jared ay 162 nang maging anak niya si Enoc. 19 Nabuhay pa si Jared nang 800 taon at nagkaroon din ng iba pang mga anak. 20 Namatay siya sa gulang na 962 taon.
21 Animnapu't limang taon naman si Enoc nang maging anak niya si Matusalem. 22 Tatlong daang taon pang nabuhay si Enoc na kasama ang Diyos, at nagkaroon ng iba pang mga anak. 23 Umabot siya nang 365 taon, 24 at(D) sa buong panahong iyon ay namuhay siyang kasama ng Diyos. Pagkatapos, nawala siya sapagkat kinuha siya ng Diyos.
25 Si Matusalem ay 187 taon nang maging anak niya si Lamec. 26 Nabuhay pa si Matusalem nang 782 taon at nagkaroon din ng iba pang mga anak. 27 Namatay siya sa gulang na 969 na taon.
28 Si Lamec naman ay 182 taon nang magkaroon ng anak. 29 Sinabi niya, “Mula sa lupang ito na isinumpa ni Yahweh, ipinanganak ang lulunas sa lahat ng ating mga pagpapagal at paghihirap.” Kaya't Noe[b] ang ipinangalan niya sa kanyang anak. 30 Nabuhay pa si Lamec nang 595 taon at nagkaroon din siya ng iba pang mga anak. 31 Namatay siya sa gulang na 777 taon.
32 Si Noe nama'y 500 na nang maging anak niya sina Shem, Ham at Jafet.

5 This is the book of the (B)genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in (C)the likeness of God. 2 He created them (D)male and female, and (E)blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created. 3 And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son (F)in his own likeness, after his image, and (G)named him Seth. 4 After he begot Seth, (H)the days of Adam were eight hundred years; (I)and he had sons and daughters. 5 So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; (J)and he died.
6 Seth lived one hundred and five years, and begot (K)Enosh. 7 After he begot Enosh, Seth lived eight hundred and seven years, and had sons and daughters. 8 So all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.
9 Enosh lived ninety years, and begot [a]Cainan. 10 After he begot Cainan, Enosh lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and had sons and daughters. 11 So all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.
12 Cainan lived seventy years, and begot Mahalalel. 13 After he begot Mahalalel, Cainan lived eight hundred and forty years, and had sons and daughters. 14 So all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.
15 Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and begot Jared. 16 After he begot Jared, Mahalalel lived eight hundred and thirty years, and had sons and daughters. 17 So all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred and ninety-five years; and he died.
18 Jared lived one hundred and sixty-two years, and begot (L)Enoch. 19 After he begot Enoch, Jared lived eight hundred years, and had sons and daughters. 20 So all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years; and he died.
21 Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Methuselah. 22 After he begot Methuselah, Enoch (M)walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. 23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. 24 And (N)Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God (O)took him.
25 Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begot Lamech. 26 After he begot Lamech, Methuselah lived seven hundred and eighty-two years, and had sons and daughters. 27 So all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years; and he died.
28 Lamech lived one hundred and eighty-two years, and had a son. 29 And he called his name (P)Noah,[b] saying, “This one will comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground (Q)which the Lord has cursed.” 30 After he begot Noah, Lamech lived five hundred and ninety-five years, and had sons and daughters. 31 So all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years; and he died.
32 And Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah begot (R)Shem, Ham, (S)and Japheth.
