Ang mga Naging Anak ni Adan(A)
5 Ito(B) ang aklat ng mga salinlahi ni Adan. Nang lalangin ng Diyos ang tao, siya ay nilalang sa wangis ng Diyos.
2 Lalaki(C) at babae silang nilalang, at sila'y binasbasan at tinawag na Adan ang kanilang pangalan, nang araw na sila'y lalangin.
3 Nabuhay si Adan ng isandaan at tatlumpung taon, at nagkaanak ng isang lalaki na kanyang wangis, ayon sa kanyang larawan, at tinawag ang kanyang pangalan na Set.
4 Ang mga naging araw ni Adan pagkatapos na maipanganak si Set ay walong daang taon; at nagkaanak pa siya ng mga lalaki at mga babae.
5 Ang lahat ng mga araw ng naging buhay ni Adan ay siyamnaraan at tatlumpung taon at siya'y namatay.
6 Nabuhay si Set ng isandaan at limang taon at naging anak niya si Enos.
7 Nabuhay si Set pagkatapos na maipanganak si Enos ng walong daan at pitong taon at nagkaanak pa ng mga lalaki at mga babae.
8 Ang lahat na naging araw ni Set ay siyamnaraan at labindalawang taon at siya'y namatay.
9 Nabuhay si Enos ng siyamnapung taon at naging anak niya si Kenan.
10 Si Enos ay nabuhay pagkatapos na maipanganak si Kenan ng walong daan at labinlimang taon at nagkaanak pa ng mga lalaki at mga babae.
11 Ang lahat na naging araw ni Enos ay siyamnaraan at limang taon at siya'y namatay.
12 Nabuhay si Kenan ng pitumpung taon at naging anak niya si Mahalalel.
13 Nabuhay si Kenan pagkatapos na maipanganak si Mahalalel ng walong daan at apatnapung taon, at nagkaanak pa ng mga lalaki at mga babae.
14 Ang lahat na naging araw ni Kenan ay siyamnaraan at sampung taon at siya'y namatay.
15 Nabuhay si Mahalalel ng animnapu't limang taon at naging anak niya si Jared.
16 At nabuhay si Mahalalel pagkatapos na maipanganak si Jared ng walong daan at tatlumpung taon, at nagkaanak pa ng mga lalaki at mga babae.
17 Ang lahat na naging araw ni Mahalalel ay walong daan at siyamnapu't limang taon at siya'y namatay.
18 Nabuhay si Jared ng isandaan at animnapu't dalawang taon at naging anak niya si Enoc.
19 Nabuhay si Jared pagkatapos na maipanganak si Enoc ng walong daang taon, at nagkaanak pa ng mga lalaki at mga babae.
20 Ang lahat na naging araw ni Jared ay siyamnaraan at animnapu't dalawang taon at siya'y namatay.
21 Nabuhay si Enoc ng animnapu't limang taon at naging anak niya si Matusalem.
22 Lumakad si Enoc na kasama ng Diyos, pagkatapos na maipanganak si Matusalem ng tatlong daang taon, at nagkaanak pa siya ng mga lalaki at mga babae.
23 At ang lahat na naging araw ni Enoc ay tatlong daan at animnapu't limang taon.
24 Lumakad(D) si Enoc na kasama ng Diyos; at hindi na siya natagpuan sapagkat siya'y kinuha ng Diyos.
25 Nabuhay si Matusalem ng isandaan at walumpu't pitong taon at naging anak niya si Lamec.
26 Nabuhay si Matusalem pagkatapos na maipanganak si Lamec ng pitong daan at walumpu't dalawang taon at nagkaanak pa ng mga lalaki at mga babae.
27 Ang lahat na naging araw ni Matusalem ay siyamnaraan at animnapu't siyam na taon at siya'y namatay.
28 Nabuhay si Lamec ng isandaan at walumpu't dalawang taon at nagkaanak ng isang lalaki.
29 Tinawag niya ang kanyang pangalan na Noe, na sinabi, “Ito ang magbibigay sa atin ng ginhawa mula sa ating gawa at sa pagpapagod ng ating mga kamay, dahil sa lupang sinumpa ng Panginoon.”
30 Nabuhay si Lamec pagkatapos na maipanganak si Noe ng limang daan at siyamnapu't limang taon at nagkaanak pa ng mga lalaki at mga babae.
31 Ang lahat na naging araw ni Lamec ay pitong daan at pitumpu't pitong taon at namatay.
32 Nang si Noe ay may limang daang taon, naging anak niya sina Sem, Ham, at Jafet.

5 This is the book of the (B)genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in (C)the likeness of God. 2 He created them (D)male and female, and (E)blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created. 3 And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son (F)in his own likeness, after his image, and (G)named him Seth. 4 After he begot Seth, (H)the days of Adam were eight hundred years; (I)and he had sons and daughters. 5 So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; (J)and he died.
6 Seth lived one hundred and five years, and begot (K)Enosh. 7 After he begot Enosh, Seth lived eight hundred and seven years, and had sons and daughters. 8 So all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.
9 Enosh lived ninety years, and begot [a]Cainan. 10 After he begot Cainan, Enosh lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and had sons and daughters. 11 So all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.
12 Cainan lived seventy years, and begot Mahalalel. 13 After he begot Mahalalel, Cainan lived eight hundred and forty years, and had sons and daughters. 14 So all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.
15 Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and begot Jared. 16 After he begot Jared, Mahalalel lived eight hundred and thirty years, and had sons and daughters. 17 So all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred and ninety-five years; and he died.
18 Jared lived one hundred and sixty-two years, and begot (L)Enoch. 19 After he begot Enoch, Jared lived eight hundred years, and had sons and daughters. 20 So all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years; and he died.
21 Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Methuselah. 22 After he begot Methuselah, Enoch (M)walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. 23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. 24 And (N)Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God (O)took him.
25 Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begot Lamech. 26 After he begot Lamech, Methuselah lived seven hundred and eighty-two years, and had sons and daughters. 27 So all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years; and he died.
28 Lamech lived one hundred and eighty-two years, and had a son. 29 And he called his name (P)Noah,[b] saying, “This one will comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground (Q)which the Lord has cursed.” 30 After he begot Noah, Lamech lived five hundred and ninety-five years, and had sons and daughters. 31 So all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years; and he died.
32 And Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah begot (R)Shem, Ham, (S)and Japheth.

From Adam to Noah
5 This is the written account(A) of Adam’s family line.(B)
When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God.(C) 2 He created them(D) male and female(E) and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind”[a] when they were created.
3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image;(F) and he named him Seth.(G) 4 After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 5 Altogether, Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died.(H)
6 When Seth had lived 105 years, he became the father[b] of Enosh.(I) 7 After he became the father of Enosh, Seth lived 807 years and had other sons and daughters. 8 Altogether, Seth lived a total of 912 years, and then he died.
9 When Enosh had lived 90 years, he became the father of Kenan.(J) 10 After he became the father of Kenan, Enosh lived 815 years and had other sons and daughters. 11 Altogether, Enosh lived a total of 905 years, and then he died.
12 When Kenan had lived 70 years, he became the father of Mahalalel.(K) 13 After he became the father of Mahalalel, Kenan lived 840 years and had other sons and daughters. 14 Altogether, Kenan lived a total of 910 years, and then he died.
15 When Mahalalel had lived 65 years, he became the father of Jared.(L) 16 After he became the father of Jared, Mahalalel lived 830 years and had other sons and daughters. 17 Altogether, Mahalalel lived a total of 895 years, and then he died.
18 When Jared had lived 162 years, he became the father of Enoch.(M) 19 After he became the father of Enoch, Jared lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 20 Altogether, Jared lived a total of 962 years, and then he died.
21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah.(N) 22 After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God(O) 300 years and had other sons and daughters. 23 Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years. 24 Enoch walked faithfully with God;(P) then he was no more, because God took him away.(Q)
25 When Methuselah had lived 187 years, he became the father of Lamech.(R) 26 After he became the father of Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters. 27 Altogether, Methuselah lived a total of 969 years, and then he died.
28 When Lamech had lived 182 years, he had a son. 29 He named him Noah[c](S) and said, “He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the Lord has cursed.(T)” 30 After Noah was born, Lamech lived 595 years and had other sons and daughters. 31 Altogether, Lamech lived a total of 777 years, and then he died.
32 After Noah was 500 years old,(U) he became the father of Shem,(V) Ham and Japheth.(W)
