²⁵ May the God of your fathers, the Almighty, bless you with blessings of heaven above and of the earth beneath—blessings of the breasts and of the womb,

⁷ Because the Lord God helps me, I will not be dismayed; therefore, I have set my face like flint to do his will, and I know that I will triumph.

²⁰ We depend upon the Lord alone to save us. Only he can help us; he protects us like a shield.

⁴ But God is my helper. He is a friend of mine!^[a]

⁶ That is why we can say without any doubt or fear, “The Lord is my Helper, and I am not afraid of anything that mere man can do to me.”
