Genesis 49:1-3

49 Jacob called his sons and said, “Gather together, so that I can declare to you what will happen to you in the days to come.” ^[a]

²Assemble together, and listen to this, you sons of Jacob.
Listen to Israel, your father.

³Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might,
and the beginning of my vigor,
excelling in dignity and excelling in power.

49 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.
