Genesis 48:13-15

13 And Joseph took them both, Ephraim with his right hand toward Israel’s left, and Manasseh with his left hand toward Israel’s right, and brought them close to him. 14 But Israel stretched out his right hand and laid it on the head of Ephraim, who was the younger, and his left hand on Manasseh’s head, [a]crossing his hands, [b]although (A)Manasseh was the firstborn. 15 And he blessed Joseph and said,
“(B)May the God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked,
(C)The God who has been my shepherd [c]throughout my life to this day,

13 And Joseph took both of them, Ephraim on his right toward Israel’s left hand and Manasseh on his left toward Israel’s right hand,(A) and brought them close to him. 14 But Israel(B) reached out his right hand and put it on Ephraim’s head,(C) though he was the younger,(D) and crossing his arms, he put his left hand on Manasseh’s head, even though Manasseh was the firstborn.(E)
