⁸These are the names of the sons of Israel who came to Egypt^(A) – Jacob and his sons:

Jacob’s firstborn: Reuben.

⁹Reuben’s sons:^(B) Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.

¹⁰Simeon’s sons:^(C) Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul, the son of a Canaanite woman.
