Alam nʼyo rin na mula sa Canaan ay dinala namin pabalik sa inyo ang perang nakita namin sa aming mga sako. Kaya bakit magnanakaw pa kami ng pilak o ginto sa bahay ng amo ninyo? Kapag nakita nʼyo ang kopa na iyan sa isa sa amin, patayin nʼyo siya at magiging alipin nʼyo kami.”

10 Sinabi ng tagapamahalang alipin, “Sige, Kapag nakita ko ang kopa sa isa sa inyo ay magiging alipin ko siya, at ang matitira sa inyoʼy walang pananagutan.”

10 “Very well, then,” he said, “let it be as you say. Whoever is found to have it(H) will become my slave;(I) the rest of you will be free from blame.”(J)

Behold, the money, which we found in our sacks' mouths, we brought again unto thee out of the land of Canaan: how then should we steal out of thy lord's house silver or gold?

With whomsoever of thy servants it be found, both let him die, and we also will be my lord's bondmen.

10 And he said, Now also let it be according unto your words: he with whom it is found shall be my servant; and ye shall be blameless.
