³⁴ When portions were served to them from Joseph’s table, Benjamin’s portion was five times as much as anyone else’s.^(A) So they feasted^(B) and drank freely with him.

²² To each of them he gave new clothing,^(A) but to Benjamin he gave three hundred shekels^[a] of silver and five sets of clothes.^(B)

⁸ Then David said to Uriah, “Go down to your house and wash your feet.”^(A) So Uriah left the palace, and a gift from the king was sent after him.

⁵ But to Hannah he gave a double portion^(A) because he loved her, and the Lord had closed her womb.^(B)
