18 Y vi[a] siete vacas gordas[b] y de hermoso aspecto que salieron del Nilo; y pacían en el carrizal. 19 Pero he aquí, otras siete vacas subieron detrás de ellas, pobres, de muy mal aspecto y flacas[c], de tal fealdad[d] como yo nunca había visto en toda la tierra de Egipto. 20 Y las vacas flacas y feas[e] devoraron las primeras siete vacas gordas.

18 when out of the river there came up seven cows, fat and sleek, and they grazed among the reeds.(A) 19 After them, seven other cows came up—scrawny and very ugly and lean. I had never seen such ugly cows in all the land of Egypt. 20 The lean, ugly cows ate up the seven fat cows that came up first.
