21 And he restored the chief butler to his butlership, and the butler gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand;
22 But [Pharaoh] hanged the chief baker, as Joseph had interpreted to them.
23 But [even after all that] the chief butler gave no thought to Joseph, but forgot [all about] him.

21 He restored the chief cupbearer(A) to his position,(B) so that he once again put the cup into Pharaoh’s hand(C)— 22 but he impaled the chief baker,(D) just as Joseph had said to them in his interpretation.(E)
23 The chief cupbearer, however, did not remember Joseph; he forgot him.(F)
