^19 (A)In three days Pharaoh will lift up your head—from you!—and ^(B)hang you on a tree. And the birds will eat the flesh from you.”

²⁰ On the third day, which was Pharaoh's ^(C)birthday, he made a feast for all his servants and ^(D)lifted up the head of the chief cupbearer and the head of the chief baker among his servants. ^21 (E)He restored the chief cupbearer to his position, and ^(F)he placed the cup in Pharaoh's hand. ²² But he ^(G)hanged the chief baker, as Joseph had interpreted to them.

^29 (A)And he hanged the king of Ai on a tree until evening. ^(B)And at sunset Joshua commanded, and they took his body down from the tree and threw it at the entrance of the gate of the city and ^(C)raised over it a great heap of stones, which stands there to this day.
