10 And though she spoke to Joseph day after day, he refused(A) to go to bed with her or even be with her.
11 One day he went into the house to attend to his duties,(B) and none of the household servants(C) was inside. 12 She caught him by his cloak(D) and said, “Come to bed with me!”(E) But he left his cloak in her hand and ran out of the house.(F)

10 Though she spoke to Joseph day after day, he did not listen to her to lie beside her or be with her. 11 Now it happened [a]one day that he went into the house to do his work, and none of the people of the household was there inside. 12 So she grabbed him by his garment, saying, “Sleep with me!” But he left his garment in her hand and fled, and went outside.

10 I premda ga je ona iz dana u dan nagovarala, odbijao je spavati s njom, čak je izbjegavao i družiti se s njom. 11 Jednoga je dana Josip ušao u kuću obavljati svoj posao, a nije bilo nikog od posluge. 12 Ona ga uhvati za ogrtač i kaže: »Spavaj sa mnom!« Ali on ostavi svoj ogrtač u njezinoj ruci i pobjegne.
