16 Then they journeyed from Bethel; and there was still some distance to go to (A)Ephrath, and Rachel gave birth, and she [a]suffered severely in her labor. 17 Now it happened that when she was in severe labor the midwife said to her, “Do not fear, for now (B)you have another son.” 18 Now it happened as her soul was departing (for she died), that she named him [b]Ben-oni; but his father called him [c]Benjamin. 19 So (C)Rachel died and was buried on the way to (D)Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem). 20 And Jacob set up a pillar over her grave; that is the (E)pillar of Rachel’s grave to this day. 21 Then Israel journeyed on and pitched his tent beyond the [d](F)tower of [e]Eder.
