21 ¶ Then Israel went forward, and pitched his tent beyond Migdal Eder.
22 Now when Israel dwelt in that land, Reuben went and [a]lay (A)with Bilhah his father’s concubine, and it came to Israel’s ear. And Jacob had twelve sons.
23 The sons of Leah: Reuben Jacob’s eldest son, and Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Zebulun:

21 Israel journeyed on and pitched his tent beyond the tower of Eder.
22 While Israel lived in that land, Reuben went and (A)lay with Bilhah his father's concubine. And Israel heard of it.
Now the sons of Jacob were twelve. 23 The sons of Leah: (B)Reuben (Jacob's firstborn), Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun.
