Genesis 26:27-29
New International Version
27 Isaac asked them, “Why have you come to me, since you were hostile to me and sent me away?(A)”
28 They answered, “We saw clearly that the Lord was with you;(B) so we said, ‘There ought to be a sworn agreement between us’—between us and you. Let us make a treaty(C) with you 29 that you will do us no harm,(D) just as we did not harm you but always treated you well and sent you away peacefully. And now you are blessed by the Lord.”(E)
Genesis 26:27-29
King James Version
27 And Isaac said unto them, Wherefore come ye to me, seeing ye hate me, and have sent me away from you?
28 And they said, We saw certainly that the Lord was with thee: and we said, Let there be now an oath betwixt us, even betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee;
29 That thou wilt do us no hurt, as we have not touched thee, and as we have done unto thee nothing but good, and have sent thee away in peace: thou art now the blessed of the Lord.
