⁶⁷ Isaac brought her into the tent^(A) of his mother Sarah,^(B) and he married Rebekah.^(C) So she became his wife, and he loved her;^(D) and Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.^(E)

²⁶ The woman whose son was alive was deeply moved^(A) out of love for her son and said to the king, “Please, my lord, give her the living baby! Don’t kill him!”

But the other said, “Neither I nor you shall have him. Cut him in two!”

¹⁹ honor your father and mother,’^[a](A) and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’^[b]”^(B)

²⁶ When Jesus saw his mother^(A) there, and the disciple whom he loved^(B) standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman,^[a] here is your son,”
