³² After the treaty^(A) had been made at Beersheba,^(B) Abimelek and Phicol the commander of his forces^(C) returned to the land of the Philistines.^{(D) 33} Abraham planted a tamarisk tree^(E) in Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the Lord,^(F) the Eternal God.^(G)
