¹⁹ God said, “No, but ^(A)Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name ^(B)Isaac.^[a] I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.

²¹ But ^(A)I will establish my covenant with Isaac, ^(B)whom Sarah shall bear to you at this time next year.”

² And Sarah ^(A)conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age ^(B)at the time of which God had spoken to him.

⁹ For this is what the promise said: ^(A)“About this time next year I will return, and Sarah shall have a son.”
