¹⁵ So Hagar bore a son to Abram; and Abram named his son, to whom Hagar gave birth, Ishmael.

^2 (A)So Sarah conceived and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at ^(B)the appointed time of which God had spoken to him.

³ Abraham named his son who was born to him, the son whom Sarah bore to him, ^(A)Isaac.

Abraham’s Death

25 Now Abraham took another wife, ^[a]whose name was Keturah. ^2 (A)She bore to him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. ³ Jokshan fathered Sheba and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, Letushim, and Leummim. ⁴ The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All of these were the sons of Keturah.

^32 (A)The sons of Keturah, Abraham’s concubine, to whom she gave birth, were Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan were Sheba and Dedan. ³³ The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.

^34 (B)Abraham fathered Isaac. The sons of Isaac were ^(C)Esau and ^[a]Israel.
