Abram Promised a Son

15 After these things ^(A)the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying,

² And ^(A)God spoke to Israel ^[a]in visions of the night and said, “^(B)Jacob, Jacob.” And he said, “Here I am.”

⁶ He said,

^5 (A)He continued to seek God in the days of Zechariah, ^(B)who had understanding ^[a]through the vision of God; and ^[b](C)as long as he sought the Lord, God made him successful.

The Secret Is Revealed to Daniel

¹⁹ Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night ^(A)vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven;
