The Lord’s Covenant With Abram

15 After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram^(A) in a vision:^(B)

⁶ I will make you very fruitful;^(A) I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you.^(B)

⁷ but the Israelites were exceedingly fruitful; they multiplied greatly, increased in numbers^(A) and became so numerous that the land was filled with them.

Solomon’s Wisdom

²⁹ God gave Solomon wisdom^(A) and very great insight, and a breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand^(B) on the seashore.

⁴⁷ Solomon left all these things unweighed,^(A) because there were so many;^(B) the weight of the bronze^(C) was not determined.

²⁷ Hezekiah had very great wealth and honor,^(A) and he made treasuries for his silver and gold and for his precious stones, spices, shields and all kinds of valuables.

¹⁷ For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.^(A)

¹⁹ And my God will meet all your needs^(A) according to the riches of his glory^(B) in Christ Jesus.

¹⁹ and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power^(A) is the same as the mighty strength^(B)
