Abramu Apulumutsa Loti
14 Pa nthawi imeneyi Amarafeli mfumu ya Sinara, Arioki mfumu ya Elasara, Kedorilaomere mfumu ya Elamu ndi Tidala mfumu ya Goimu 2 anathira nkhondo Bera mfumu ya ku Sodomu, Birisa mfumu ya Gomora, Sinabi mfumu ya Adima, Semeberi mfumu ya Ziboimu ndi mfumu ya Bela (kumeneko ndi ku Zowari). 3 Mafumu onse anathiridwa nkhondowa anagwirizana pamodzi kupita ku Chigwa cha Sidimu (Nyanja ya Mchere). 4 Kwa zaka khumi ndi ziwiri anali pansi pa ulamuliro wa Kedorilaomere, koma mʼchaka cha khumi ndi chitatu anamuwukira.
5 Mʼchaka cha khumi ndi chinayi, Kedorilaomere mogwirizana ndi mafumu ena aja anapita kukagonjetsa Arefaiwa ku Asiteroti-karanaimu, Zuzimu wa ku Hamu, Aemi wa ku Savekiriataimu 6 amene ankakhala ku Ahori, ku dziko la mapiri la Seiri mpaka ku Eli Parani kufupi ndi chipululu. 7 Kenaka anabwerera napita ku Eni-Misipati (ku Kadesi), ndipo anagonjetsa dera lonse la Aamaleki, kuphatikizanso Aamori amene ankakhala ku Hazazoni Tamara.
8 Tsono mafumu a ku Sodomu, Gomora, Adima, Zeboimu ndi ku Bela (ku Zowari) anapita ku Chigwa cha Sidimu kukakonzekera kuthira nkhondo 9 Kedorilaomere mfumu ya Elamu, Tidala mfumu ya Goimu, Amarafeli mfumu ya Sinara ndi Arioki mfumu ya Elasara. Mafumu anayi analimbana ndi mafumu asanu. 10 Koma Chigwa cha Sidimu chinali chodzaza ndi maenje aphula. Choncho pamene mafumu a ku Sodomu ndi Gomora amathawa, ankhondo ena anagweramo ndipo ena anathawira ku mapiri. 11 Mafumu anayi aja anatenga katundu yense ndi chakudya chonse cha ku Sodomu ndi Gomora napita nazo. 12 Anatenganso Loti, mwana wa mʼbale wake wa Abramu pamodzi ndi katundu wake popeza ankakhala mu Sodomu.
13 Koma munthu wina amene anathawa, anabwera kudzamufotokozera Abramu Mhebri. Tsono Abramu ankakhala pafupi ndi mitengo ikuluikulu ya thundu ya Mamre wa fuko la Aamori, mʼbale wake wa Esikolo ndi Aneri. Onsewa anali pa mgwirizano ndi Abramu. 14 Abramu atamva kuti Loti wagwidwa pa nkhondo, anasonkhanitsa asilikali 318 obadwira mʼbanja lake lomwelo nalondola mpaka ku Dani. 15 Pa nthawi ya usiku Abramu anawagawa asilikali ake kuti athire nkhondo mafumu aja, ndipo anawakantha nawapirikitsa mpaka ku Hoba, cha kumpoto kwa Damasiko. 16 Ndipo anawalanda katundu wawo yense nabwera naye Loti, katundu wake yense, pamodzi ndi akazi ndi anthu ena.
17 Abramu atabwerera kuchokera kogonjetsa Kedorilaomere ndi mafumu amene anali nawo pa mgwirizano, mfumu ya ku Sodomu inabwera kudzakumana naye ku Chigwa cha Save (chimenechi ndicho Chigwa cha Mfumu).
18 Ndipo Melikizedeki mfumu ya ku Salemu anabweretsa buledi ndi vinyo. Iyeyu anali wansembe wa Mulungu Wammwambamwamba, 19 ndipo anadalitsa Abramu nati,
“Mulungu Wammwambamwamba,
wolenga kumwamba ndi dziko lapansi, akudalitse iwe Abramu.
20 Ndipo adalitsike Mulungu Wammwambamwamba
amene anapereka adani ako mʼdzanja lako.”
Ndipo Abramu anamupatsa iye chakhumi cha zonse anali nazo.
21 Mfumu ya Sodomu inati kwa Abramu, “Ine undipatse anthu okhawo, koma katundu akhale wako.”
22 Koma Abramu anawuza mfumu ya Sodomu kuti, “Ndakweza manja anga kwa Yehova, Mulungu Wammwambamwamba, Mlengi wakumwamba ndi dziko lapansi, kulumbira 23 kuti sindidzalandira kanthu kalikonse kako, ngakhale utakhala ulusi chabe kapena chingwe cha nsapato, kuopa kuti ungamanene kuti, ‘Ndamulemeretsa Abramu.’ 24 Sindidzalandira kanthu kalikonse kupatula zokhazo zimene anthu anga adya ndi gawo la katundu la anthu amene ndinapita nawo monga Aneri, Esikolo ndi Mamre. Iwowa atenge gawo lawo.”

14 And it came to pass in the yamim of Amraphel Melech Shinar (i.e., Babylon), Aryoch Melech Ellasar, Kedorlaomer Melech Elam, and Tidal Melech Goyim;
2 That these made milchamah with Bera Melech Sodom, and with Birsha Melech Amora (Gomorrah), Shinav Melech Admah, and Shemever Melech Tzevoyim, and the Melech Bela, which is Tzoar.
3 All these were joined together in the Valley of Siddim which is the Yam HaMelach (i.e., Dead Sea).
4 Twelve shanah they served Kedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.
5 And in the fourteenth year came Kedorlaomer, and the melachim that were with him, and they defeated the Rephaim in Ashterot Karnayim, and the Zuzim in Ham, and the Emim in Shaveh-Kiryatayim,
6 And the Chori in their Mt Seir, as far as Eil-Paran, which is near the midbar.
7 And they turned, and came to En Mishpat, which is Kadesh, and conquered all the country of the Amaleki, and also the Emori, that dwelt in Chazezon-Tamar.
8 And there went out the Melech Sodom, and the Melech Amora (Gomorrah), and the Melech Admah, and the Melech Tzevoyim, and the Melech Bela (the same is Tzoar); and they joined in milchamah with them in the Valley of Siddim;
9 With Kedorlaomer Melech Elam, and with Tidal Melech Goyim, and Amraphel Melech Shinar, and Aryoch Melech Ellasar; four melachim against five.
10 And the Valley of Siddim was full of tar pits; and the Melech Sodom and Amora (Gomorrah) they fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.
11 And they took all the possessions of Sodom and Amora (Gomorrah), and all their ochel, and went their way.
12 And they took Lot, Avram’s brother’s son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his possessions, and departed.
13 And there came one that had escaped, and told Avram HaIvri; for he dwelt in Elonei Mamre the Emori, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner; and these were Ba’alei Brit Avram.
14 And when Avram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained men, born in his own bais, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them as far as Dan.
15 And he divided himself against them, he and his avadim, by lailah, and routed them, and pursued them as far as Chovah, which is on the left hand (north) of Damascus.
16 And he recovered all the possessions, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his possessions, and the nashim also, and the people.
17 And the Melech Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the defeat of Kedorlaomer, and of the. melachim that were with him, at the Valley of Shaveh, which is the Valley of the King.
18 And Malki-Tzedek Melech Shalem brought forth lechem and yayin and he was the kohen of El Elyon.
19 And he blessed him, and said, Baruch Avram by El Elyon, Creator of Shomayim v’Aretz;
20 And baruch El Elyon, Who hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him ma’aser (tithe) of all.
21 And the Melech Sodom said unto Avram, Give me the nefesh and keep the possessions for thyself.
22 And Avram said to the Melech Sodom, I have lifted up mine hand unto Hashem, El Elyon Creator of Shomayim v’Aretz,
23 That I will not take from a thread even to the thong of a sandal, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Avram rich;
24 Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the chelek of the anashim which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their chelek.

14 ¶ Y aconteció en aquellos días que Amrafel, rey de Sinar; Arioc, rey de Elasar; Quedorlaomer, rey de Elam, y Tidal, rey de los gentiles,
2 hicieron guerra contra Bera, rey de Sodoma, y contra Birsa, rey de Gomorra, y contra Sinab, rey de Adma, y contra Semeber, rey de Zeboim, y contra el rey de Bela, la cual es Zoar.
3 Todos éstos se juntaron en el valle de Sidim, que es el Mar Salado.
4 Doce años habían servido a Quedorlaomer, y al decimotercer año se rebelaron.
5 Y en el año decimocuarto vino Quedorlaomer, y los reyes que estaban de su parte, e hirieron a los refaítas en Asterot-carnaim; a los zuzitas en Ham, y a los emitas en Save-quiriataim.
6 Y a los horeos en el monte de Seir, hasta la llanura de Parán, que está junto al desierto.
7 Y volvieron y vinieron a En-mispat, que es Cades, e hirieron todas las labranzas de los amalecitas, y también al amorreo, que habitaba en Hazezon-tamar.
8 Y salió el rey de Sodoma, y el rey de Gomorra, y el rey de Adma, y el rey de Zeboim, y el rey de Bela, que es Zoar, y ordenaron contra ellos batalla en el valle de Sidim;
9 es a saber, contra Quedorlaomer, rey de Elam, y Tidal, rey de los gentiles, y Amrafel, rey de Sinar, y Arioc, rey de Elasar; cuatro reyes contra cinco.
10 Y el valle de Sidim estaba lleno de pozos de betún; y huyeron el rey de Sodoma y el de Gomorra, y cayeron allí; y los demás huyeron al monte.
11 Y tomaron toda la hacienda de Sodoma y de Gomorra, y todas sus provisiones, y se fueron.
12 Tomaron también a Lot, hijo del hermano de Abram, que moraba en Sodoma, y a su hacienda porque él moraba en Sodoma, y se fueron.
13 ¶ Y vino uno que escapó, y lo denunció a Abram el hebreo, que habitaba en el alcornocal de Mamre amorreo, hermano de Escol y hermano de Aner, los cuales estaban confederados con Abram.
14 Y oyó Abram que su hermano era cautivo, y armó los criados de su confianza, nacidos de su casa, trescientos dieciocho, y los siguió hasta Dan.
15 Y se derramó sobre ellos de noche él y sus esclavos, y los hirió, y los siguió hasta Hoba, que está a la izquierda de Damasco.
16 Y recobró todos los bienes, y también a Lot su hermano y su hacienda, y también las mujeres y el pueblo.
17 ¶ Y salió el rey de Sodoma a recibirlo, cuando volvía de herir a Quedorlaomer y a los reyes que estaban con él, al valle de Save, que es el valle del Rey.
18 Entonces Melquisedec, rey de Salem, sacó pan y vino; el cual era sacerdote del Dios alto;
19 y le bendijo, y dijo: Bendito sea Abram del Dios alto, poseedor de los cielos y de la tierra;
20 y bendito sea el Dios alto, que entregó tus enemigos en tu mano. Y Abram le dio los diezmos de todo.
21 ¶ Entonces el rey de Sodoma dijo a Abram: Dame las personas, y toma para ti la hacienda.
22 Y respondió Abram al rey de Sodoma: He alzado mi mano al SEÑOR Dios alto, poseedor de los cielos y de la tierra,
23 que desde un hilo hasta la correa de un zapato, nada tomaré de todo lo que es tuyo, para que no digas: Yo enriquecí a Abram.
24 Sacando solamente lo que comieron los jóvenes, y la parte de los varones que fueron conmigo, Aner, Escol, y Mamre; los cuales tomarán su parte.
