New American Standard Bible 1995
2 Now Abram was (A)very rich in livestock, in silver and in gold. 3 He went [a]on his journeys from the [b]Negev as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, (B)between Bethel and Ai, 4 to the place of the (C)altar which he had made there formerly; and there Abram called on the name of the Lord. 5 Now (D)Lot, who went with Abram, also had flocks and herds and tents. 6 And (E)the land could not [c]sustain them [d]while dwelling together, (F)for their possessions were so great that they were not able to remain together.
