The Call of Abram

12 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household^(A) to the land^(B) I will show you.^(C)

¹⁸ Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.^{(A) 19} Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,^(B) baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,^{(C) 20} and teaching^(D) them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you^(E) always, to the very end of the age.”^(F)

² By this gospel you are saved,^(A) if you hold firmly^(B) to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

³ For what I received^(C) I passed on to you^(D) as of first importance^[a]: that Christ died for our sins^(E) according to the Scriptures,^{(F) 4} that he was buried,^(G) that he was raised^(H) on the third day^(I) according to the Scriptures,^(J)
