6 And the Lord said, “Indeed (A)the people are one and they all have (B)one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they (C)propose to do will be withheld from them. 7 Come, (D)let Us go down and there (E)confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” 8 So (F)the Lord scattered them abroad from there (G)over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city.

7 Come ye, therefore, let us go down, and there confound their tongue, that they may not understand one another's speech.
8 And so the Lord scattered them from that place into all lands, and they ceased to build the city.
