²⁷ So God created man ^(A)in His own image; in the image of God He created him; ^(B)male and female He created them.

³² “For ^(A)ask now concerning the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and ask ^(B)from one end of heaven to the other, whether any great thing like this has happened, or anything like it has been heard.

⁴ And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who ^[a]made them at the beginning ^(A)‘made them male and female,’
