17-18 Inilagay ng Dios ang mga ito sa kalangitan para magbigay-liwanag sa mundo kung araw at gabi, at para ihiwalay ang liwanag sa dilim. At nasiyahan ang Dios sa nakita niya. 19 Lumipas ang gabi at dumating ang umaga. Iyon ang ikaapat na araw.
20 Pagkatapos, sinabi ng Dios, “Magkaroon ng ibaʼt ibang hayop sa tubig at magsilipad ang ibaʼt ibang hayop[a] sa himpapawid.”

18 to govern the day and the night,(A) and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.(B) 19 And there was evening, and there was morning(C)—the fourth day.
20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures,(D) and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.”(E)
