³ When I observe Your heavens,
the work of Your fingers,
the moon and the stars,

and all the stars, by the breath of His mouth.^(B)

⁸ The One who made the Pleiades and Orion,^(A)
who turns darkness^[a] into dawn^(B)
and darkens day into night,^(C)

and pours them out over the face of the earth^(E)—
