¹⁴ Then God said, “Let there be ^[a](A)lights in the ^[b](B)expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for ^(C)signs and for ^(D)seasons and for days and years; ¹⁵ and let them be for ^[c]lights in the ^[d]expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so.
