1 In the (A)beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was (B)without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Jesus Calls Philip and Nathanael
43 (A)The next day Jesus decided (B)to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “Follow me.” 44 Now (C)Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found (D)Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him of whom (E)Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus (F)of Nazareth, (G)the son of Joseph.” 46 Nathanael said to him, (H)“Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, “Behold, (I)an Israelite indeed, (J)in whom there is no deceit!” 48 Nathanael said to him, “How (K)do you know me?” Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” 49 Nathanael answered him, (L)“Rabbi, (M)you are the Son of God! You are the (N)King of Israel!” 50 Jesus answered him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” 51 And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you,[a] you will see (O)heaven opened, and (P)the angels of God ascending and descending on (Q)the Son of Man.”

John 14:8-14
English Standard Version
8 (A)Philip said to him, “Lord, (B)show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? (C)Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that (D)I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you (E)I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. 11 Believe me that (F)I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else (G)believe on account of the works themselves.
12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, (H)whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I (I)am going to the Father. 13 (J)Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that (K)the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 (L)If you ask me[a] anything in my name, I will do it.

1 Corinthians 12:7-11

7 (A)To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 8 For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of (B)wisdom, and to another the utterance of (C)knowledge according to the same Spirit, 9 to another (D)faith by the same Spirit, to another (E)gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 to another (F)the working of miracles, to another (G)prophecy, to another (H)the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another (I)various kinds of tongues, to another (J)the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, (K)who apportions to each one individually (L)as he wills.

1 John 3:1-8
English Standard Version
3 See (A)what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called (B)children of God; and so we are. The reason why (C)the world does not know us is that (D)it did not know him. 2 Beloved, we are (E)God's children (F)now, and what we will be (G)has not yet appeared; but we know that (H)when he appears[a] (I)we shall be like him, because (J)we shall see him as he is. 3 And everyone who (K)thus hopes in him (L)purifies himself as he is pure.
4 Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; (M)sin is lawlessness. 5 You know that (N)he appeared in order to (O)take away sins, and (P)in him there is no sin. 6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; (Q)no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. 7 Little children, (R)let no one deceive you. (S)Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. 8 (T)Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was (U)to destroy the works of the devil.
