The History of Creation^(A)

1 In the ^(B)beginning ^(C)God created the heavens and the earth.

¹⁹ because ^(A)what may be known of God is ^[a]manifest ^[b]in them, for ^(B)God has shown it to them. ²⁰ For since the creation of the world ^(C)His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and ^[c]Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

⁶ But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

¹⁵ He is ^(A)the image of the invisible God, ^(B)the firstborn over all creation. ¹⁶ For ^(C)by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or ^(D)dominions or ^[a]principalities or ^[b]powers. All things were created ^(E)through Him and for Him. ^17 (F)And He is before all things, and in Him ^(G)all things consist.

¹² For the word of God is ^(A)living and powerful, and ^(B)sharper than any ^(C)two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is ^(D)a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. ^13 (E)And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are ^(F)naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

Our Compassionate High Priest

¹⁴ Seeing then that we have a great ^(G)High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, ^(H)let us hold fast our confession.
