The Creation

1 ^(A)In the beginning ^(B)God ^(C)created the heavens and the earth.

1 ^(A)In the beginning was ^(B)the Word, and the Word was ^(C)with God, and ^(D)the Word was God. ^2 [a]He was in the beginning with God. ^3 (E)All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

¹⁶ For ^[a](A)by Him all things were created, ^(B)both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether ^(C)thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—^(D)all things have been created through Him and for Him. ¹⁷ He ^[b](E)is before all things, and in Him all things ^[c]hold together.

^2 [a](A)in these last days ^(B)has spoken to us ^[b]in ^(C)His Son, whom He appointed ^(D)heir of all things, ^(E)through whom also He made the ^[c](F)world. ^3 [d]And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact ^(G)representation of His nature, and ^[e](H)upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made ^(I)purification of sins, He ^(J)sat down at the right hand of the ^(K)Majesty on high,

³ By faith we understand that the ^[a](A)worlds were prepared ^(B)by the word of God, so that what is seen ^(C)was not made out of things which are visible.
