The Creation

1 ^(A)In the beginning ^(B)God ^(C)created the heavens and the earth.

²⁶ Then God said, “Let ^(A)Us make ^(B)man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them ^(C)rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the ^[a]sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

²⁷ God created man ^(A)in His own image, in the image of God He created him; ^(B)male and female He created them.

²² Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of ^(A)Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from ^(B)the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”—

^19 [a](A)Go therefore and ^(B)make disciples of ^(C)all the nations, ^(D)baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

² according to the ^(A)foreknowledge of God the Father, ^(B)by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, ^[a]to ^(C)obey Jesus Christ and be ^(D)sprinkled with His blood: ^(E)May grace and peace ^[b]be yours in the fullest measure.

^14 (A)The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the ^(B)love of God, and the ^(C)fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.
