Genesis 9:6-8

⁶The one who sheds human blood,
by a human will his blood be shed,
for in God’s image He made humanity.

⁷But as for you, be fruitful and multiply! Flourish in the land and multiply in it.”

⁸Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him, saying,

has God made mankind.

⁷As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it.”^(C)
